This auction, at the Sage home at 1028 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY 13901, is for Mopar and other muscle car parts. Mopar. Original Mopar NOS items include an Edelbrock street torker intake plate, mint still in the original Mopar box; Several big block crankshafts still in original boxes, lamps, lenses, engine parts and more. Many good used hard to find parts including a 1957-58 392 dual quad intake and early 1960's 413 dual quad intake complete with carburetors. Also several big block heads and exhaust manifolds.

Saved from parts cars and stored. 1968 & 1969 Charger rally dash clusters, complete dashes, steering columns, glass, chrome trim molding, rally wheels, doors, hoods, including scooped hoods, trunk lids, including 1968 GTX lid with finish panel, bumpers including several re-chromed bumpers still in 1970's packing, brake drums, steering boxes and more.

To be sold as one lot. 1969 Dodge Daytona, used original front nose cutoff with headlamp assemblies, braces and brackets, complete rear wing set including mounts and brackets, as well as the Daytona rear window plug with the original back glass. This package along with the Daytona fender tag, registration and the car's history will all be sold as one lot.

Also to be sold separately. 1969 Fin as well as a 1968 Charger R/T with restoration started.

Non-Mopar. Some of the non-Mopar items include re-chromed GM bumpers and a GTO floor shift console with a tachometer.

Theodore B. Starr, of Black, Starr & Frost, was an active jeweler and silversmith from 1865 until his shop closed in 1924. A collection bearing his mark descended in his family and is being sold in this auction by a granddaughter. Another collection of Russian silver enamel is from a Scranton Pennsylvania Estate.

All of the items in this auction are selling without reserve AS IS (No Refunds, No Returns) at a 10% buyers premium. All silver is selling with an opening bid of 80% of spot of the NYS Merc Silver, as of the close on Friday, July 24th.

In this auction are over 400 lots of sterling, including American .900, European .800 silver and Mexican sterling. Connelly Realty, Robert "Bob" Connelly Broker and Auctioneer, will sell together in one lot AS IS with a Warranty Deed the 0.54 acre (50' frontage) property at 1648 Rte 11, zoned commercial 439, and the 0.55 acre (105' frontage) property at 1650 Rte 11, zoned multi-residential, 411.

Auction of Hubley Toys & Company Ephemera

Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an Auction of Hubley Collection Toys & Company Ephemera at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 11:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am. The auction includes over 500 lots and several hundred non-cataloged items from the Estate of Jan McComsey. Mr. McComsey went to work for the Hubley Manufacturing Company in Lancaster Pennsylvania at 15, and throughout his tenure, took home many items discarded by the Company, including mockups, color separations, correspondence, court documents, catalogs, notes and letters.

Selling without reserve AS IS at a 12% buyers premium are toys, including a grasshopper, specially built for Jan McComsey by Hubley designer Bill Gigl, a gold presentation 961 Ford Powermaster tractor (1 of 4 made), 35 mint cap pistols, over 50 puzzles, 500 comic books, Mickey Mouse magazines from 1933, hand blown and other marbles, Tonka and Hess trucks, and boxed games; and dolls and accessories, including a 22" Karl Hastman, 23" Kestner, 28" Simon & Halbig, two early large composition dolls, an A&J bake set, doll dishes and furniture.

Ephemera in the auction include original artwork for Hubley's Indian motorcycle with rider and other toys, the earliest dated January 17, 1888, There are price lists, brochures, flyers and toy catalogs, as well as catalogs for door stops, paperweights, lamps, furniture and metal castings -- and drawings, color separations, and proofs for the catalogs. There are many pieces of correspondence between Hubley and other companies, including Harley Davidson, Indian Motorcycle Company, Lionel, Schoenhut, Arcadia, Murphy, Owens-Kreiser, and Maytag, and photographs of motorcycle toy displays. In all, there are over 200 pieces of ephemera and drawings of prototype toys that were never produced.

As part of Binghamton's extended First Friday Art Walk the Connelly Gallery at 205 State St, Binghamton, NY 13901-2711 will open an exhibit and sale of original acrylic and lacquer paintings by internationally known artist Sky Jones on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This is the premier exhibit of this California collection painted between 1984 and 1997. Visitors to the Gallery on Friday evening will enjoy hot, fresh popcorn, and may bring personal property (up to three pieces) for a free verbal apppraisal by a certified appraiser. Born Michael R. Whipple in Salt Lake City, Sky Jones was graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in art in 1971. Working since 1984 as Sky Jones and since 1997 as Siren Bliss, he has executed artwork for movies, such as Star Trek, Meteor, The Neverending Story and Dressed to Kill, illustrations for magazines including TV Guide, Time, Look, Life, Newsweek, and People, and portraits for politicians, sports figures, and celebrities, such as Chuck Norris, Leonard Nimoy, Kirk Douglas, and Jaclyn Smith. The author of two books on art and life, The Artist's Bible in 1983 and Spirits in 1984, Sky Jones is represented in the private collections of notables such as Queen Elizabeth, Burt Reynolds and Mohammed Ali.
